BIOGRAPHY
Asher T. Sinclaire is an Eco-Artist who has evolved into a natural eco-textiles advocate, designer, and speaker. Born and raised in Arizona, he finds inspiration from the lush landscapes of the Sonoran Desert. His connection with the global natural eco-textile community supports his belief that natural eco-textiles are safe and sustainable for people and the planet.
Asher creates nature-inspired designs from his photographs and prints them on natural eco-textiles using a waterless printing process and certified biodegradable, non-hazardous, and non-toxic inks. He is an award-winning artist, photographer, and published writer. He holds a Master of Business Administration with Honors, a Bachelor of Science in Education with Honors, and an Associate of Arts in Photography.
Currently, he is working on two Arizona Commission on the Arts grant projects. The Artist Opportunity Grant project has assisted him in acquiring the BioGeometry Foundation Training to elevate his knowledge of this subtle energy science. The Research and Development Grant project is focused on digital eco-textile printing and was made possible by the Arizona Community Foundation, with funding from the Newton and Betty Rosenzweig Fund for the Arts.
Asher is a member of the Arizona Department of Education Family and Consumer Sciences Industry Advisory Board and the East Valley Institute of Technology Advisory Board. He is also the former founding Executive Director of the Arizona Sustainable Apparel Association and the former chair of the Surface Design Association Arizona Regional Marketing and Advertising Committee.
